thought maybe id post up whats going on a little since i did get quite a few replys, and thank you for that. much appreciated.

alright so last tank was 360, and this tank will probly beat it, its coming along! still did not succeed changing my 02 sensor, so ill take my dump pipe out and bring it to the shop n get their help, since i stripped it. i lost my patience.

but i re soldered my mad and reset my ecu with a brand new coolant temp sensor, car runs minty, finally. its been a terrible 5500 km since christmas.

but once i get the new sensor on, that should help, and then ill see what im getting a tank, if something still seems fishy then ill check my lines n such.

but it seemed the gas millage got better also with the oil change, motor must of liked the fresh oil.

last tank was 380, this tank im already at 350 and have a whole quarter left...

annnnddd it still reeks like fuel when i have the windows down, so probly a leak. if i ever fix that ill be a happy person. but its been much better with the 02 sensor installed.

If it stinks that bad, thats your issue. Im sure the 02 will also make a diff. but in the end you are most likely dripping about a gallon of fuel out in the course of your running the tank out.

Get on it mang, you could do it in an afternoon with jackstands and the tank in place (you shouldn't have to drop it).

k so i got 460 km on this tank, almost twice what i was getting when i started this thread!

come on thats pretty sweet. and now time to attack those fuel lines. but still, i think its very good news that its running soo soooo much better. idles nice, and responsive, and smooth at all times. a pleasure to cruise in, and better mpg. couldnt be without your help.

Those rear lines are easy. 2 hrs tops.
With car running pull out fuel pump fuse to relieve fuel pressure.
Jack the rear of your car up however, or use a ditch. lol.
Undo filler neck bolt, only one as filler neck attaches to body with a rubber gromet.
Open up fuel pump cover in the trunk, undo connector.
Loosen gas tank strap bolts. Keep checking on your filler neck to make sure grommet has released from the body. Lower tank as far as you can but dont completely undo strap bolts as they will hold the tank up for you.
Undo factory zip tie, use a small flat headed screwdriver to push the tab to undo, or cut and replace with your own zip tie when your done.
Now you have enough room for your hands to easily get at the lines at the tank. This could also be done without lowering tank but wouldnt be as easy. OEM zip tie is hard to get at.
Replace fuel lines one at a time so you dont get mixed up. 5/16. Get quality fuel INJECTION hose.
                Replace/re-use zip tie.
The rest is reverse of the above.

It is very dirty up near the neck and on the tank. If you want to LOVE your skyline while the tank is lowered, get a couple buckets of soap and water, different size brushes, scrub, rinse, repeat. Then get a can of rust proofing(Krown/Rust check) and go to town.

                Good luck.

it actually was easy, didnt need to remove anything to access it. jack up the car and go at it. just the proper pliers for the fuel line hose and thats it.
