  • What wheels should i get this summer?

so i really dont know what i want... except 100% 18's.

    i have xxr 521 17x9 et. 25 with a 8 mm spacer, so et. 17

tires, 205/50/17. ( i buy used, so anything works, planning on buying 205/40/17 to get lower, and mine are getting pretty damn bald, but i might not buy brand new tires and just get wheels n tires )

umm i need to use stretch for the fitment i want, and i want wider wheels, since im going wider front and read fenders.
and because the 17's dont fill up the wheel gap i have fairly thick ( in my opinion ) and their skinny because to get stretch they need to be smaller then recommended. i used to have 245/45/17 but theirs too thick, it lifts the whole car, and doesnt stretch.

so i want wider wheels. staggered is more so what i want, but the same would be ok, but i dont really want 10-11's in the front you know ahah. even though it would pretty much fit ( depending on offsets ) i rather not, tires get more expensive and so forth.

and 18X9 works for fronts, no smaller then 9 obvi, but since their bigger rims and i can get smaller tires and little bit wider, and rears... i dont know! i was thinking xxr 526 18x10.5 but im kinda over those wheels.

and im not going to spend 3k. max 1500... i know thats fairly low, but i just want opinions.

and i already have aggressive spoke wheels, so either big dish wheels, or cool looking spoke pattern. and i am considering VIP wheels as well. so fancy, shinny is fine.

here's just a couple pics to show the wheels on right now. and the rear will be going to 0 camber on rear and right now its pretty much 4. and 2-3 degrees on front.

and heres and example of what i was looking out ( if i was going to do something reallly crazy and drastic, but i could make it look good, except they dont come wider then 8.5 for the 18's.

and i love these, but the price is too steep and their overly used on skylines,

and heres another set, love love love these, id get these for sure, but again price, used might be an option. and they do come good sizes

i even considers these and just make it baller, which most of you will hate, but the point is, i have an open mind for diversity, but i am still picky for what i like. so dont feel like im a douch if i dont like your idea. but please give ideas.

They look good in last pic, painted gunmetal grey?

Advan RS or maybe Volk GTS

          really no other opinions?

i was maybe thinking of xxr 530's if i had nothing else to buy.

but i would have to paint them to make them more exciting... unless i like the hyper silver finish.

i also heard that nlmotoring might be making some custom sizes, little wider then what xxr was planning on producing.

I too was looking at the xxrs, pretty affordable with nice designs and aggressive offsets and widths

                ill check it out thanks.

what do you guys think about 19x9.5/19x11? lol i know no one rocks 19's but i found a company that does cast 1 piece wheels in those sizes, and their 18's arnt wide enough. but i think it could be sick... btw im about fitment not function, the new set im going after. my xxrs i already have are for function.

and 11's would let me stretch 265/30's and have good traction at the same time.

go to the UK and Australia gtr sites and you can see 19's on a r32
i know there are a few on there

actually there was a white on white GTR on here with Varrstoen rims on this site

well doc, that was some very good advice, i did find a forum on that topic. and theirs 1 really nicely fitted LMGT 4 in 19x9.5 et.12 with 245/30 and was perfect. honestly, such amazing stance and the whole car, im not sure how to post pics from other websites... but ill try lol

                    what finish would you choose?

anyways its just confirming that 19's will work if done properly. i also got an email back form the company with the prices and offsets and the 19x9.5 are et 20 and 19x11 are et 18 and are 1149$ for the set, which is a good price in my opinion. so with the fronts ill be able to fit with my gts fenders even, but im still going to go gtr to get more clearance and more aggressive, and add another spacer if i need too. but the rears... ohhh myyyy... yeah i wont fit anything close to it, especailly not how low i am. so ill need a wide body from c-unit of of these days, then run 0 camber rear.

n found some tires, all less then 200$ for whatever size i need. so i wont need to sell my liver for rubber hahah
