  • Skyline R32 Gtr, N1 Oil pump, Crank collar and R33 Crankshaft, Question

    Hi,

I want to know if i have the R33 Crankshaft or maybe an aftermarket crank collar.

I buy my R32 GTR 2 years ago and i just need to know if my setup of the collar and oil pump is good and safe.

For now i got the informations about the old owner and he tell me :

    N1 Oil Pump
R33 Crankshaft (Maybe, not sure) he just tell me that the collar was already done...

Do you think i can sheck the collar on the cranskshaft wihtout release everyhing?

Do you have an how to check this? maybe if this is not a big job.

And maybe you can give me your opinion on this setup if i have the R33 crankshaft and the N1.

I never rev at the Redline.

    Thank you for your reply.

its irrelevant whether you have a early or late model crankshaft if a collar has already been fitted to give .04 clearance with the nose of the crank and the inner gear of the oil pump has already been done. if you dont bounce off the redline or even if you do really your set up should be fine as long as it was a authentic n1 pump.

Good thanks for the fast reply, i will ask the user if this is an authentic n1 but probably yes.

Do you how to check if this is a real n1 or a replica?

Excluding trying to bouncing the redline ;p
