are they any vent or purge valves on skylines? ive looked but dont see any.
Ive got a r33 gtst and ive just recently deleted the evap system (everything except for the lines from down on the drivers side that goes back to the tank) and since then when i open the cap i get pressure rushing out (more than ever before)...i didn't think it would do this seeing how it should be vented. thinking i got a plugged line or there is some valve keeping the tank capped off.
any insight would be nice, dont wanna drive a bomb around lolNote: Turbos make torque and torque makes fun

I had a pressurized tank before deleting the canister. Obviously having it "pressurised" has no advantage, except increasing the chances of explosive deflagration from the gas tank in a crash.
This is how I did it, see the bottom of the picture, where the tank is now venting into the frame rail. See the two open metal lines next to the timing belt cover? It's the ones that need to be capped.

Ive got an rb25det, and the lines from the canister that go from the front up and around the firewall and then down to the under body are gone as well. I had capped that main line under the driver's side going back to the tank and noticed the pressure, so i removed the cap (meaning the tank should just vent to atmosphere) and im still gettting pressure inside the tank... I dont see why there would be pressure build up?
My next option im thinking of it venting the tank from where the vent goes up the filler neck... and maybe hooking up a simple solenoid that i can vent periodically with a switch
any thoughts?Note: Turbos make torque and torque makes fun
