Oil Pressure Sender

Hi

Need some help. I have looked but cannot find a definitive answer. Are there two separate oil pressure sensors for the oil gauge and the oil light?

I have a leak but my mechanic says it is the sensor for the oil light and not the oil pressure sender for the gauge. I have found the part number for the oil pressure sender, 25070-30P01 or 25070-55S60 which is the same for the 300zx tt but cannot find a part number for the oil sensor for the oil pressure light. If so which other vehicle uses the same one if any.

From what I have read, the oil light is for a total loss of pressure.

From what I can remember, I was told Nissan Patrol has same oil pressure gauge, sender, switch as R32.
