  • Mounting Greddy Oil Cooler Help

hey everyone, so i have a greddy oil cooler/filer relocation that i bought used without any brackets or anything. im wondering where the best place to mount it is, and what brackets i should make. im thinking the best place would be under the battery behind the bumper, mounted on its side so i can drain oil out when doing oil change could also set up some ducting too. what you your guys mounting solutions look like ?

I have some pics in my build thread, mounted on passenger side for GTR because BOV's are on driver side, not sure if you want to go all that way.

      Cheers,
      Colin

I had the same thing. I used two L brackets and mounted in front of my Rad right by the clutch fan. It makes a huge difference in cooling. Mind you I do not have A/C so this can me done.
Dang! You got shocks, pegs... Lucky! You ever take it off any sweet jumps?

probably going to mount mine there, and then put filter relocation where battery is. ive drawn up a drip tray/holding bracket for the filter block. once i finally make it with some sheet metal and rivets ill post some pics up for sure

In guard is best. Infront of radiator can get heat soak (from FMIC).

Haven't had that problem yet. My car runs surprisingly cool. Cooler than my heavy chevy.

I am mounting mine behind my grill. Made up a heat shield with gold reflective tape on it to separate the cooler from my FMIC. Just need to make up some solid mounting brackets and I am set. I also have most of my inner fenders already removed to fit wide tires and I did not want to have a cooler sitting there.
