hey guys i got a question about engines, i have a 1992 skyline gts4 and my rb20 is blown so i need a new engine but i would really like to keep the awd what would be the best engine to get so i can keep the awd but also affordable? or would it just be more easy to sell and buy a new skyline??

Buy a rb26 and toss it in. Wiring will need some work but will be worth it. It's a straight swap. Keep your gts 4 diffs and trans and you'll be laughing

R32 GTR gearbox is better due to gear ratio's to suit RB26 engine, strength, but R32 GTS-4 halfshaft's are the same diameter as R32 GTR halfshaft's and the shorter diffhead ratio in R32 GTS-4 diffheads help with acceleration, but sacrifice top speed.

Some do make GTR's out of GTS-4 chassis, for example of a 2 door R33 GTS-4 converted to R33 GTR spec (using a crashed R33 GTR as a parts car, etc) -
