Hello,
I bought an used ATS rear diff for a good price, but I'm having second thought... Considering I never drove with a rear 1.5way diff before ( mine is still stock), I'm looking for input from fellow owner who drove on them and either bought it used or new.
So basicly, you can find used diff for about 600-700. Like the ATS metal or carbon ( but heard that carbon can be fragile.. so i rather go metal) or the Nismo GT lsd or a cusco rs.
Or if I go brand new, I found out about the KAAZ SuperQ... almost double the price at 1300$ new, but it is said to be as quiet as stock, engagement very smoothly and no break-in at all. Sound a bit like all the characteristic of the Quaiffe but in a metal clutch type which I like.
I also find out that the rebuilt kit ( 19 plates) for the oem transfer-case is 530$ so they money i save on an used diff could go toward the new plate for the t-case in order to achieve better traction for future years
What would you do ?
