  • Sealing Compound For Tail Lights?

What are you guys using to replicate the factory non drying thick build sealer used on the tail lights to end panel? All I can find locally is "dum dum" a non drying tacky strips but no where near the thickness of the factory stuff. Possibly 2 layers of 3m double side tape with a strip of that dum dum or a weatherstrip adhesive.
    Cheers!

    Sealing Compound For Tail Lights?

Dum dum by 3m is the best ! I just did both mine as well as the turn signal/reverse lense as well as the skyline light ! Make sure to use a double layer hand rolled strips and a little bit around the studs that secure the lights to the end panel! Mine were all leaking water....

Why not the butyl oem sealant?
Can find the part # on fast, take # to nissan.
Comes in coils, i think 1 coil does more than 1 but not enuff for both taillights.
Its not pricey or cheap but works the 1st time and most importantly looks OEM.
