cant wait to see a R33 up close. i saw one in traffic pull out infront of me so i only saw it from the back and then it took off as i was waiting at the red light. did they just become leagal? i didnt think they were yet. looked beautiful from the back.

i saw one here.. all I can say is it was a beautiful machine.. though i would want a supra instead of r33.. I dont know just me..

Been reading through a lot of threads. Just got a 1993 GTR . If I've remembered what I read... we need to :

Replace headlights
Retro Third Brake Light
Install DTRs
Retro Side Markers

Sound about right ? - First time GTR 'er

Is this thread dead?? I'm still waiting for those pictures from JZGarage.

Does anyone have more info on E-coded lights or what the guys in the states are running??

and lastly,were projector style headlights ever an option,thats one thing ill miss switching from my 32 to a 33,projectors with a nice set of 10 000K HID lighting up every cop car vinyl in the city.

From what I understand, the late R33 GTR headlight are projectors and they fit the series 1 R33 GTSt. Finding a pair would be another matter I suppose, I haven't had much luck short of ordering from nissan or pay $1k.

Hi all, there were no E-marked lights for the R33 made, in the UK the standard lights are ok, but for europe a few people stripped and rebuilt their lights, but were not to any set standard, I have HID conversion on mine which gives a neutral flat beam, I am taking it for an out of province test next week so will see if it's ok.

Having read this thread I'm also interested to hear more about those that are being made over here, just incase mine are not accepted next week. Now I have also been told that as the car was not designed with daytime running lights I will not have to fit them, is this right?
