  • R33 GTS-T Compliance

With the R33 Becoming availible later this year..
Im wondering if anyone has any ideas on Headlights for this car..
Im going to assume that the R33 Lights are not DOT.
so we are going to do a Headlight swap..
however as you can see from the pic.. they are one piece with the Turn signal. So that looks like it might be a pain to mount some other light in there.
    Ideas/Suggestions/Info..

you can ask jas3113 or njshorrer. they're both in the ny/nj area and both own/owned r33's.

I can't tell you what headlights fits but I can tell you that the headlights seems to have the turn signal built in but no the turn signal is actually separed and bolted on the fenders( as you can see in your pic, is that orange light on the fender), I am doing the r32/r33 conversion right now and I have all the working right now and yes turn signals are not built into the headlights.

There has to be a turn signal on the front of the car. The turn signal on the fender (aka: side of car, near wheel) cannot be the only turn signal.

Is the amber light in the front bumper not a turn signal? The corner of the headlight lens itself is not a turn lamp? Strange...

                  Hi Dah Hunter,

Please be advised that we have a DOT package for the Supra and R33 that will be available this year. The current price for the DOT package for the R33 will be $1000 parts and install. HIDs are optional but we can install them for a total of $1200 balanced.

                  Thanks,

I thought there were some e-coded R33 headlights floating around in Europe somewhere.

UK models had 'em so they´d still be rhd. (or was those R34´s - can´t remember)
... and some imported cars has been said to have one, two or zero E-coded lamps on them.

we have DOT R33 lights, an R33 light that has been re manufactured
                            to be DOT approved.

                            30K just for the mold.
