Insurance on rhd

I used the search function but couldn't find anything about insurance in Nova Scotia. I have found an R33 GTS-T that I would really like to buy, 1994 with 80k. I had a quote with Eisenhauer Insurance for any old car with plpd coverage for about $1600, but then when I said how about a car with rhd and they said $5700...Help!

What do you all pay for insurance? What company and what province?

If NS insurance has already been discussed somewhere feel free to throw a link at me. I looked but couldn't find a thread about it...

I looked through that Ontario thread but didn't see any mention of other provinces.
