  • How do you register a vehicle in Ontario if you buy it from out of province?

    yeah, I'm not sure what I need, I know if you buy one in Ontario and you want to register it in Ontario you need a used seller package, but how do you register it in Ontario if you say bought it from Alberta? Thanks for any help!

    Have you tried the search function? lol.. Its all been explained many a time and in great detail.


    If you're driving it back from AB, you need proof of insurance and the bill of sale before you can drive it on the roads. If you're towing it, you don't need either but its good to have if you get pulled over for w/e reason. However, you will need the bill of sale to register at the MTO in Ontario.
