  • Buying my first Skyline in 2 months in Ontario

Hay guys the purchase of my first skyline is sooo close I can smell it.
If this has been answered i apologize I couldnt find it I searched before I typed this,
So im looking for my first GTR/GTS-T (R32 ONLY)

    Where im at so far.

    1) Got the loan
    2) Qualify for lant insurance (I already called)
    3) Now just searching for the right car.

Now I am not searching out of province, I will be purchasing in Ontario. If the car is already registered and landed what must I do to get licencing? Any other tests or inspections required in province?

Your help is much appreciated and look forward to posting on here in the future

If it's already here and previously registered.

        You'll need appraisal, safety, e-test.

Pretty easy... Shouldn't be any issues.

Congrats on looking into insurance first
You'll be very happy with Lant. Just got my renewal today -- $187 for the year. ($9900 valued)
Once I get the body done and get it appraised, value will double though....

As stated in previous posts, if the car you get is already registered here, it's like buying any other car. Safety, Etest, Bill of sale.
Other mechanical inspections are your choice and obviously recommended. Rightdrive's shop I'm sure could do that for you. They know these cars inside out. They also find/sell very nice examples. Any car I've seen personally that has come from them is in VERY good condition.
Me personally, I bought my GTR in very good mechanical shape (R33 spec engine rebuild already done, clutch, etc...)
but saved some $$ because it had some paint issues (mostly from shipping) and I intended to restore that anyways.
                        Needed nothing for safety/etest.

Just be thorough in your search, don't buy the first one fanboy style, and you'll be set.
