I am proud to announce the details of the highly anticipated national GTRCanada Meet. In response to suggestions from last year's participants, we will be holding two simultaneous SkyMeets on opposite ends of the country.
Here are the details:

SkyMeet West
Date: June 2, 3 2007
Location: Calgary
Contact person: GTR-Dad (Dan)
Tentative plans are:
Calgary - Core meet will be June 2nd - (Same weekend as Driven to Perform).
Dan will arrange group reservations at a hotel, set up a barbeque for Saturday evening, and work with the locals to select an informal after dinner social venue.
The Race City road course is booked solid for weekends all summer, but there are a few racing options available.
1 - Friday Night Secret Street - Drag Racing on June 1st. ($25 to race - $5 to watch)
2 - Saturday/Sunday Alberta Race Car Association Solo 1 at Race City. (This would require a Solo 1 license and registration. If there's interest I can provide contact information)
3 - Autocross - Currently defining available options. Secret Street doesn't offer Autocross this weekend as the Oval is booked. If there's interest we'll secure a site, a sponsoring WCMA club (for access to insurance), and make it happen.
Sunday will be a drive home day for those who need it, and (subject to interest) include a scenic cruise / photo op to either Bragg Creek or Banff.

SkyMeet East
Date: June 3, 2007
Time: 11am – 6pm (tentative)
Location: Toronto Motorsports Park (TMP), Cayuga

Tentative details:
SkyMeet 2K7 East will be hosted by the Canadian Sport Compact Series (CSCS). The Meet will be a component of the first annual GTA Nissan/Infiniti meet at Toronto Motorsports Park.
The day's events include Drag Racing (Pro and Street Cars), Show & Shine,
Time Attack, Drifting, IASCA Sound competition, Vendor Alley, and many
more highlights will be announced in the next two months leading up to
the event.
All GTRCers will receive reserved parking in a designated area. CSCS will account for
the added Nissan’s Infiniti’s by adding many more show classes. If you
have any question or concerns feel free to contact CSCS directly.
To GTRC Sponsors:
If you would like to set up a booth, please PM JZ for a hard copy of the CSCS exhibitor kit. The kit give vendors a few options for booths or series
partnerships. Cost is $350 for a 10x20 and it includes two
exhibitor passes.
