In the wee hours of March 29th 2008, several members of the GTRC western posse met up to make the trek to Golden Gardens in Seattle, WA. Before we arrived, we took a scenic drive through Chukanut drive, Whitby Island, got stuck behind a marathon of runners and rode a ferry.
When we got out of the madness we pulled into the first carwash we saw. All 11 cars were washed within 10 minutes thanks to cooperation... and many quarters.
The meet was wild, all types of unusually modified cars showed up. Several vintage GTRs showed up, as well as a large handful of R35s. After leaving the meet and hanging out on the side of the road, we attracted a handful of other skylines, some American, some Canadian.
Highlights of the cruise include going Go-karting at K1Speed after the car meet, repairing a Skyline in a Travelodge parking lot, shopping at the outlets, and seeing all the pretty "sights" on the I5. The meet ended on our side of the boarder at Cactus club in Whiterock.
