Skyline GTR detailed to showroom condition. 99% correction.

well im sure everyone is interested to some point
why dont you put together some kinda pricing point and then we can figure out what we are looking for in regards to how much per person type of deal

break it down to a few different things

X amount per hour for engine bay
X amount per hour for interior
X amount per hour for exterior
X amount per hour for wheels
X amount per hour for high speed polish/buff
X amount per hour for claybar

plus obviously gas/food/shelter would be something we could figure out once we know the basics

Anyways, thanks for the suggestion, this could be an idea. However, I won't be doing any ''out of my area'' detail until I finish school ( april 21) and then, I'm sure I will have at least 1 month of big rush locally. I would be offering this option maybe in june. i still have lots of times to check how much people would be interesting but so far, I know 4 peoples would be down.

Considering my jobs takes between 3 to 20 hours. 4 peoples could be 1 full week of work haha!

nice job man, ive done some that stuff myself. bought all the meguiars wax products and the polisher. does a great job, but its called patience isnt it haha. is that the original paint? mine got repainted a year before i bought it. if yours is, then props.

It is. but I don't really like meguiars I think they are too OTC oriented average products.

So here's Blacklight after 3 weeks. Beading is almost inexistant and sheet barely.. I can't see how Blacklight can be considered a new hyper new LSP if it cant even last a month.. Maybe if the paint was clayed, decontamined and polished, maybe, it would last 6-8 weeks but still.. doesnt look, SO FAR, too great or any better than other CG's offering.









So we decide to strip it and just go with a wax. I hdidn't play alot with Dodo juice Supernatural and wanted to try it.. What I must say and start with is that.. i don't really like Dodo juice. there's something with this brand that I don't like.. maybe it,s the fact there's so many choices. Also, I didn't really like their 70$ wax Purple haze and Blue velvet. I decide to give Dodo a LAST TRY before giving up on their brand. this is the top-dog. their best offering at 200$retail.

Smell: Smell carnauba.. which I kinda like.. still better than pina colada but worse than banana or cinamon hahaha

Feel: Not as hard as Crystal Rock/Mystery but it really didn't felt like a soft wax! I would say it's closer to Raceglaze Black Label. It does melt in your hand but if applied with an applicator, it somewhat caked on my pad instead of beeing ''moisturise''. Because of ta particularity, it didn't spread as nice as I would like. However, it buff out real nice! I think that's where this wax shine, it buff out easily even if left for one hour or for 10 minutes!







Sheet or bead? it seems to be more like a wax that will bead than sheet but this is initial impression.

Impression: It seems to give the glow of high-quality 'nuba or showcar wax like Swissvax Concorso. So far, I don't dislike the look but I will see if it can last a month because usually show wax last less than 4 weeks except for high-end wax. Will I keep using it ? maybe.. I don't dislike it but it still havent beat other wax in the ease of use departement.

3 week update for the maintenance wash detail. look is still there, but I can tell you the beading on some panel has slowed down a tiny bit.
