Thanks Chris Getting my Nikon sometime in the next few months, so I'm gonna be out taking some shots Those are with about an hour and a half of editing in Lightroom to make 'em look snazzy The car really lends itself to the camera though. Curves look fantastic, and it reflects everything really well!

Yes, yes we did. All I ever heard on the news was "London is caught in the middle of this snow storm" We even had every Public and Catholic school closed down and even university of Western Ontario and Fanshawe Collage. Not to mention all Public transit was shut down for 2 days. Nobody was expecting it.

Thanks for looking. Always nice to see the Admin commenting on your threads.

Here's a video of the first start up after the 2 day storm.

Thanks for the comments Admin Yeah, snow storm was insane. First day when it was just coming down like mad, I was helping my dad shovel out the driveway. You could get it RIGHT to bare pavement, then 5 minutes later, there was over an inch of snow where you had just shoveled. Couldn't win! So we bought a snow blower :P

Nelson, that was an awesome vid :P Brian got a few short little runs in the parking lot, as seen with his vid. I got another one as well. I'll post it in a few when it finishes uploading

EDIT: Short little video. Nice BOV sound there

Quality's not AMAZING, but not bad for being from a celly lol

The hood was off because the car wasn't starting and I spent the whole day replacing heater hoses. Also wanted the hood off for the pictures lol. I'm not driving the car at all on the road. The car is only outside until I find storage, which I did. So it will be out of the snow soon!

Parallel-parked the 401 concrete divider yesterday at 90km/h in the subie, complete with 90 degree four-wheel drift, 180, and another 90 before the stop. I need winter tires lol.

It was an experience. I was a tad hungover and running on 4h of sleep at 7am so I'm guessing that contributed to my lack of outward expression of fear. I started sliding and I was like "oh, there's the ditch. I could be one of those people I laugh at" and then I 180'd and thought "that's concrete. I'm not gonna hit it.. omg the people on the other side of the highway must be shitting themselves watching lol" and then as I was slowing down and nearing the rail, my back end was sliding towards it and I then thought "I guess it'll just take off the back end. oh well" but I stopped perfectly parallel about half a foot away. I wanted to get out and take a pic of my path but cars were coming and there was no room to open my door anyway lol. By the time I got to Horton's, I noticed I was shaking like craaaazy haha so I'm not gonna say I was fearless.

I was pretty lucky but practicing drifting every winter around the new subdivisions with semicircle driveways and corners etc helped me gain some "instinct", if you will, about how to control a car when sliding even when my brain in blank. It may have saved my life being able to feel how much to counter-steer and not hitting the brakes out of panic.

moral of the story: GUYS, GO PRACTICE CONTROLLING YOUR CAR IN THE SNOW
edit: and you don't have to be turning to lose control. slow down.
