It doesn't make sense, unless R35GTR was producing more hp with higher octane gas or Buggati driver was slowing down???
Probably a low 10 sec 1/4 mile R35GTR with P800 kit (700awhp with 93octane gas). Before with stock R35GTR and after dyno with P800 kit, 93 octane gas -
Compare that to what a stock Buggati Veyron does on 1/4 mile (9.95sec) -
Their E900 kit (E85 fuel) = 9.623 (drag slicks?) to 9.87 1/4 mile with 20inch rims, 829awhp -
829awhp dyno run of R900 (E900?) R35GTR -
R1K with 1005awhp = 9.38 1/4 mile -
R1K dyno run -

I hate being "that" guy that talks about a car he will never own but it is entirely on how you drive the car. The veyron hit 407 kph on top gear and proceeded to toss the salad of an unsuspecting mclaren f1. I love Nissan and the Skyline but there is no way in hell a veyron driven well would loose to a gtr.

Better vid of likely the same two cars in Moscow! The veyron clearly has the edge especially as the speeds rise.
The GTR is an impressive car stock and when modified but let's be serious for a secNow throw in the Veyron Supersport at 1200 bhp etc. Also at the end of the day it is not all about speed as an exotic is an exotic. No one in their right mind would take a GTR over a Veyron if given a choice! I would take the Veyron and sell it and get a few toys with money in the bank! If I were a like the folks who own them I wouldn't care about money!
Great vids regardless but the Exotics in terms of appeal and prestige are in a league of their own especially the Veyron! I personally sat in the Veyron at the Gumball 3000 in Quebec and the fit and finish is out of this world! I can only imagine the drive!
