  • Shot Photos of 2 friends Motorex R33 GTRs & R34 GTR

Hey so two guys I know in Colorado picked up Motorex R33 GTRs right before I moved away to Seattle. Crap timing really because I didn't get to take too many photos of either of them. Heres what I was able to get though.

Also here are some pics of an R34 GTR that we detailed at the shop I work at in Seattle

Hope you like em! These were just quick photos...nothing too fancy. As I live in Seattle right now, I am pretty close to Vancouver. If anyone in that area wants to have their GTR shot just let me know. My website is naitovephoto.com if you want to check out my other stuff. Thanks for looking.

MotoRex was an importation company from late 97-04 which imported Skylines in the US. Google "MotoRex and the North American Skyline Fiasco." Gives you all you need to know about them.

        Hi Coop!

Did you read the article I said to google? It's like a freaking movie plot. Kidnapping, theft, assault. Crazy ****. Mike's not on here. He pretty much sold the orange car and is buying something else JDM.

In America they are the only Federally legal Skylines. All others here are grey market.

I have a hard time believing that Motorex is an unknown entity in these parts.

At one time, they were the only place that sold legal GTRs in North America. Before Canada, before anyone, and they did it when everyone said it was impossible.

They were a pretty big deal.

Before MX DIAF'd they commanded quite a presence in the import scene and the cars they imported are still fetching crazy prices due to the rarity. I saw a MX 1990 R32's selling for $30K recently. MX provided all the Skys in the F&F movies. MX-connected GTRCers Tyndago and GTRPower are OG members here.

Gorgeous pics! The orange one looks very Zele-ish

Cool pictures man! I was watching these videos on a Bayside blue R34 GTR in the states, and he mentioned it was one of the ones brought in legally before 2006. He said something about If they crash test a R34 and R32 they will become legal if the results are good. They only one they have crash tested was the R33. I guess nobody wants to volunteer to crash an R34 lol.

R34 were never legal in the US, just the 33 and 32's. If you check out the US R34 pics from that time, they had dealer plates. Hiro's handling of the R34's was one of the reasons MX lost their status to import and legalize US Skylines (amongst other things).

yeah I heard about the other car. Knew he had been toying with selling the GTR but didnt know he finally did. I have read a lot of the motorex story over the years...I think it would be a really cool documentary.
