I think that's more of an anti-lag than launch control. I don't think the AWD was being used either, I watched that vid about 8 times and the front wheels don't spin at all when he goes from right to left and vice-versa. Sounds really nice though, the choppy idle combined with the (Ti?) exhaust makes it sound really baddass. Kind of a "don't even think offucking with me" sound.
