  • Quiet day at the track

Here's a few laps around one of Canada's least known but most tecknical tracks, Atlantic Motorsports Park in Shubenacadie NS about 45 mins from Halifax.
This was a quiet lapping day with some slow traffic. After getting called in because I forgot to put my window up I managed a couple 7/10th laps. I had my buddy's father on board so had took it easy.
    The camera is a GoPro.
    Enjoy...

Thanks for posting, I am going to try and make it there sometime this summer. How often do they have track days and how much does it cost? Are there any other tracks in NS?

No other road courses in the Maritimes. Lots of AutoX's all over though. Check out the NBSCC website. Also this is website... http://www.ascc.ca/

If you do plan on coming down let me know. I'll assume you're not a whack job so we'll have a place for you to crash.
It'll be the most fun you will ever have with your car.

I've never seen a track like that before. It hardly looks like a race track at all, more like a nice back road somewhere.
        Beautiful scenery

Really? Do a YouTube search for Circuit Mont Tremblant. That is what heaven looks like.

Thanks bobbo, it looks like I will have to make it down there in May for race school unless they run another one later? There are still a lot of things to consider but I have a few months to plan and see if its possible.

What did you mount he Go Pro to? I have one as well but no roll cage so I may mount it to the roof.

It was mounted to the inside of the windshield. I also have a harness bar going in this season that should add another perspective.
