Nostalgic Hero is quite an old magazine over here, catering to classics. They held this show locally here in Yokohama, awesome little event.

Black bird came from the nickname of a famous modified 911 from RUF tuning company in germany. They made limited production models of porsches in BTR "Blackbird" and CTR "yellowbird" trim.

Also sounds like he is refering to the live action movie, which will apparently have a sequel but I didnt find the anime/manga to be very good. So many awesome racing manga and yet only 2 good ones are turned into anime. ;(

That S30 in the top photo was with Watanabe RS. Finally got to meet the owner after so many PC orders. He was so apologetic about the stock issues they have. The last order for 9/10J Type R's took nearly 3 months to produce

Surprised no one picked up on that OS made gear drive shown on the S series motor. Cams and lower crank sprocket are normally driven by a chain.
