I was talking to someone about that dragstrip and they said the start, end of that dragstrip is slippery (it's usually unprepped unless there's a V8 vs Import meet) and has a bump in the track (can't remember which lane, but have to avoid that lane) which doesn't help. They are going to lay a new track surface, etc, but not sure when that's happening.
Nitro funnycar can run a 5.4 sec on that dragstrip -

I wonder how these guys are adapting a 'glide in the AWD cars. I have been poking around the net for a while to find who is setting these things up but haven't come up with anything definative. Guess I need to make a call to RIPS.
