I know it's a ferry ride for you, but the Island has a great rally club. I used to run a '78 Datsun 510 with a 200sx engine and they have an event called the Midnight Rally which basically starts in Victoria, hits the logging roads out in Sooke, and you spend the entire night rallying through the back roads that are usually locked, up and down the Island, and end up in Duncan at about 9am the next morning. SOO much fun. I did it about three years strait a while ago, but haven't been in a coulpe of years. Worth checking out anyways. Great group of guys, and everything running from Land Rovers to dealership sponsored WRXs.
