My foot size is 9 1/2. The GTR pedal is perfect for my small asian foot... heh heh heh. I guess they werent really design for shoe size bigger than 10. Afterall they were design for smaller asian people like some other JDM sports cars such as RX7.

really there is no problem with a bigger foot the difference between a 10 and a 12 is very small. If your foot is bigger look for driving type shoes.
It is when you have a 13 or higher you run into problems.02 WRX 275whp Sold

I give everyone full permission to point and laugh. If you can answer this for me. What exaclty is heel and toe? I've heard people give different descriptions.
And after Fast & the furious, I definately heard some funny ones.

it's the action of revmatching while downshifting and braking, so you can be at the sweet spot of your power range when exiting a corner
so if your in 3rd at 6000RPM~150km/h you brake to 75km/h which would put you at 3000 which is a no no if you wanna re accelerate
so while sheding speed with the brake pedal, you give a tap of gas in order not to mess up the braking while going to 2nd gear
think of it this way
-usually if you clutch and just drop the a lower gear and remove the clutch, it gives a somewhat big jerk, depending in which gear you're in.
-you can drop a gear and remove the clutch gradually... but that's not very efficient when you are in a hurry to downshift thru gears...
-remedy: Brake and (throttle blip (clutch - lower gear - de-clutch))
hope this helps/makes senseMarc-André

im just wondering how are you supposed to engine brake and brake at the same time smoothly without heel toeing? or do most of you veterans who don't heel-toe daily just do the engine braking first, then pop'er in neutral and ride the brake pedal?Legend of the red R

with my suby, it's a bit easier as the clutch has a much longer travel ... you can reengage slowly to bring the revs up smoothly...
but forget about it in the skyline...
also the Gear box is SOOOOO different the gears are so far apart in my 2000 impreza brighton compared to the skyline..
like 2-3 is maybe 3 times further in the suby and it's not related to the throw I'm sure.
also in the suby, the only proper way to gracefully rev match while downshift is to pass from the higher to lower as fast as possible cause if i'm too slow the shift isn't smooth..
but it's my first right hand shift carMarc-André
