what happened to me shouldn't happen to you ..

      it happened because:

      1st RWD car
      1st High Powered Car
      2nd track Experiment
2 domokun pushing my car out of the trajectory

You still have some protection with the attesa so spin outs shouldn't(in theory happen)

        1) ok Atessa, you've got a point

        2) I still think a 280HP stock GTR is high powered :P

        3) I think we are at the same level on this one

Well I went once more and it was great I listened to how the car talked to me.

took my time and tried to be as fluid as possible

but I do lose my concentration and did stupid miskates such as: .... taking an ugly ass line... braking and heeltoeing/downsifthing while I was doing a 90deg left hander ..

ahahaha At least I know I did those mistakes and tried correcting them in the laps after.

was a lot of fun ! car runs strong too!

Ok yesterday I went for the first time alone with the yellows.

here are some of my thoughts:

the car seems to understeer alot in slow corners even if I tried to throttle steer it (I beleive wide 255 rear/narrow 215 front tires and the locked LSD pushing me straight doesn't help)

                          From end seems mushy.

My new yokohama AVS S1Z feel alot different then my Hankook K104.
They are alot more temperature sensitive
meaning ... they stick alot more went hot.

the first 2-3 laps I was certain i had a flat in the rear because the back was so loose. the pressure in both rear tires after 2 laps was 35Psi which is good.

so back on the track. I managed to control the rear end, but I did give a bit too much gas at the chicane and the rear end whipped out a bit. Countersteer and everything was ok

I manage to stay on an 90's M3 but it was just a bit slower than me, and the straights weren't long enough(or I didn't have enough power ) to overtake it. During that time a 350Z caught up to me, we were about as fast from what i can tell, but it's hard to say because of the M3 slowing me/us down.

The hardest section is the final hair pin were I understeer heavily. Come to think about it maybe I should downshift in 2nd there as in 3rd I drop to around 3000RPM I guess.

Oh if anyone has info on this.. I lapped my car before and never did this happen even in hotter days. I did a 20 min session and a coold down lap.

I do that final lap without touching the brakes at all and AFTER the cool down lap I get into the pits .. BAM no brake, well they were alot further down the pedal! Ahhh E-brake hehe the car in front was very far any ways

what I wonder is ... could the higher speeds encoutered during normal lapping help ventilate the brakes? Because I didn't get any noticeable fade during thoses fast paced laps. another theory is that when you do apply the brake some heat is trasfered from the caliper to the discs(which have a better heat absorption capacity then the aluminium calipers)??

I will change the fluid (as I haven't done so since I have the car ops: ) for motul 4.1 brake fluid.. Going to install brembo blank discs And probably hawk Hps in the front and HP in the back

if that doesn't cut it.. it's gonna be RBF600; F That I don't ever wanna miss brakes again.

also .. my brake pads on all 4 are stock from nissan.

                          thanks for reading !

and any comments or suggestions are welcome!!

                            well I change the fluid..
now the pedal's really spongy .. Bouuuuu

                            I re-bled them today

and it's still 50% of what it was before

Can't properly heel toe anymore (OHHH NOES!!!)

EDIT: OK I bled them properly this time and it's all good

Well here's a cool pic where I'm like: WTF ??!! then I got it Monday July 24th

                              on a side note

I have juste changed my Front disc to Brembo blanks and Brake pads to Hawk HP+

Wow what a diff... just during the beddin ... I almost locked my wheels every times I braked. The feeling is pretty impressive.

I'm gonna do the rear too (just a bit of time) with Brembo blanks and Hawk HPS.

Can't wait to try it on the track!! I might start being competitive even though it's just for fun. the instructor did say I braked to early. (bad habit from defensive street driving grr :x )

Also to confirm 300ZX 92+ disc and pads will fit GTS-T type M and 4 pot GTS-T!!

Thanks to Alchemist Performance who got me an incredible deal on everything!! As well as a ride in his G35 M6!!!
