        Throttle, but i was spooling the turbo on the line, that way its not so much of a jar to the drivetrain, and i get a bit of boost. I guess there is no real technique....but on street tires that day i dont think many guys had better 60 foots. (in rwd cars)

          How do you spool the turbo beforehand on a manual?

          Hold the motor against the clutch?

            yeah??

            press the brakes and clutch .. and gas

            I used to drop the clutch (the last time I went not yesterday)

            and I did manage my 14.6 at 108 .. doing so

            also BTW this time .. I turn my boost controller of for gear 1 and 2 then put it on ...

            didn't help

            my 14.6@108 was with boost controller on all the time
            maybe too much f'ing around ..? even though I'm full on the gas during that time... I wanna get to the bottom of this hehe

            thanks for your inputs guy and Chris

              Ya, i just want to see your cars ET somewhere closer to where it should be. With a 108 mph you could be 12's if that 60 foot came down, i guess the same holds true for me (but i should have another......100whp for next year so im not too worried, id just like 12's on street tires and then on goes the drag radials ).

                RB25 = sexy

                nice run man your car sounds and looks great. What do you have planned over the winter? bigger turbo? or more

                PS what tyres are you on?
                If you still have complete control of your car you are not going fast enough!

                  That was on 225/50zr17 falken zx512's, which are stretched over 10 inch rims. Ive already got the turbo and all the basic stuff. I plan on getting a power fc, greddy intake manifold, and injectors over winter, and of course tuning (plus boost and i should see somewhere in the neighborhood of +100whp). Not to mention a headgasket, install my clutch, gauges, kaaz lsd, and numerous other things while she's parked. And i still need some damn drag radials to show those muscle cars.....and gtr's how its done, hahaha

                      Ya, its race city, which is the worst track in the province. And basically over winter she will be tuned at higher boost for sure (new injectors, power fc), probably more work will be done but i wont count on it til it is done. I hope to pick up another 100 whp for next year roughly and im pretty confident thats do-able.

                              all that money u spend on the engine, why not get a gtr? u would get the same result in 1/4 time stock lol :P then modify the gtr?? :?
