A street car is probably seeing MAYBE 2,000psi max - how big is the M/C on a GTR, and how big is the booster. So you build your lines with a burst rating of 8,000psi. Aeroquip doesn't even sell anything with over 4,000psi sustained pressure (16,000psi burst).
The only difference between a formula car and a street car is the brake booster, which does't do THAT much to help the force applied to the M/C. And you guys are applying the same forces to a larger M/C which means less pressure (if you were manual brakes).Race. Win. Live.

If you want street/track tires, here are some great options.
Bridgestone RE-11: Great all round tire. Best of the bunch for wet track.
Falken RT-615: Best for ultimate dry track grip. Well priced.
Dunlop Direzza Z1 : This tire is great if you plan on running a wide tire. It seems to fall off for narrow tires compared to others at narrow width.
Kumho Ecsta XS : Good performer, great price
Toyo R1R : I don't know much a these.
Advan AD08 : Very good all round performer, but quite pricey.(TireRack has a sale right now)
All these tires are around a 140 treadwear.
If you have a second set of rims, here are some R-Compound choices:
Hankook Z214 : Awesome tires. Tons of grip. Three compound choices. Well priced. (I run these)
Kumho V710 : Great tire. Excellent grip. Gradually lose of grip at the limit. Predictable. Heavy cars will wear these out fast.
Hoosier A6 : Great tire. Tons of grip. Instantly lets go at the limit, but a higher limit than the V710. Pricey!!!
These tires are between 40 and 60 tread wear.
Advan A048 : Two compound choices. Take a bit more time to warm up than the previous rcomps mentioned. Better tire for heavier cars.
Toyo R888 : I don't know much about these tires.
Nitto NT01 : Been around a while. Good bang for the buck.
These tires are 100 tread wear.1989 Skyline GTR

i'd have to vouch for the toyo R888 in the R-compound category
most of the people i track with that use R-comps, love the R888 for their incredible drygrip, very linear grip, great durability and relatively low cost
and i got a ride for a couple laps in a b18 EF civic riding on those, and almost got my arms torn off in the corner trying to hold myseld by the ''ohhh-**** handle'' (stock 89' civic seats)

Its a bit of a split at my local track. V710's are popular with the small car crowd. Hoosier are in with bigger cars. I am a bit of an oddity with my Z214's.1989 Skyline GTR

RE-11's hands down the best wet track tire. Couples guys run them at the track and they are smoking in wet conditions. RT-615 suffer in the wet.
Alot of the guys in my club run the RT-615. Great price and arguably the best ultimate dry grip street tire of the bunch.
Two equivalent cars, one on RT-615 and the other on Z1's. Only hundreds of a second spread in the dry. In the wet the Z1's were almost 2 seconds faster than the RT-615's. True story.
Z1's do well in the wet if they are narrow.(205 to 215)
The AD08 are a good wet tire as well, but they are too much money at MSRP.IMOP1989 Skyline GTR

I've run full tread depth RT-615's in the wet and thought they were excellent. I had way more grip than anyone else on the track. For a while, I was the only one who would venture out on the course during the heaviest rain.
Just my experience. Your mileage may differ.
