You are right about the Caterham, he will most likely take FTD. He has a turbocharged Hayabusa and some serious down force. Your other guesses are way off.

Aaron is not allowed to play this game.

The Rabbit it is, but this is no ordinary Rabbit. It is stripped down and has a roll cage, weighing in at 2000lbs. Huge fender flares hold in 10" wide race slicks and to top it off it has an Audi TT awd with a 2L turbo churning out just under 400whp.

          This Rabbit has insane acceleration!!!

As for the Acura, Heather is fast for her class, but a long way from pack leading times.

First off, HUGE thanks to John at Rocky Mountain Imports for coming thru at the eleventh hour to make it possible for me to participate in this event. You are the man, John!

The field for this event was not as large as was on the entry list. Potential rain scared off less than half.

First run group of the day was practice and the track was wet. I left my street tires on and my car handled like sh!t on the slippery track. Understeer understeer understeer!!. My street tires are crappy BFG KDW's on OE rims. My times were crap.

Second Session we had dry track, so on went the Volks with Z214's. Car handled great, was pulling well and I was finding the line.
Right at the end, rain began to fall. I finished early.

My time was not what I expected. Slow by about 3 second. Couldn't figure out what was up. Checked my boost controller and it was set to low. So I was making 14psi instead of 18psi. DOH!!

Rest the day was canceled due to rain combined with a Formula Vee dumping oil all over the track.

Ended up coming in First in my class and 8th overall out of 15 entries. Disappointed in my results but very happy just to be there.

For this event I was 1:21 in the dry. Last event I was 1:19. With some minor tweaking and a bit more seat time at Mission, 1:17 should be very do-able.

I have to add that my decision to go to R-comps for the second session was last minute and I didn't have time to put my Hawk Blue pads on, so I was conservative in the braking zones once again. I would have put them on for the 3rd session had it stayed dry.

I don't even want to say what my times in the wet were, although I was being held up by a Mustang that wouldn't wave me by in the passing zones for most of that session. Grrrr!! He was even ignoring the blue flags.

There's a spec class of scale cars with Yamaha FJ1100 (I think) engines. They're about as 1937 as Nascar is Toyota, but even with that backdrop, Wow!

There were two legends out. One was faster than me by less than half a second and I was faster than the other by about 1 second. They were tail out around most corners. I easily pulled them on the straights but they could brake much deeper than me.

The third fast car I was referring to was the Vauxhall Mini. He was the only one of the fast three to show up and because of a poor tire choice he came in third.
