After much thinking/talking with frankiman, my choice end between hankook rs-3, kUHMO xs, FALKEN azenis rt615k, dunlop star spec.

There's other choice but theres so many choice that at the end I have to narrow my research lol. I think the azenis are the less suited for my application because they need to be warmed up. Star spec seems to be the better choice for ''cold temperature'', rs-3 are the lowest treadwear rating at 140 so maybe not a good choice. just my obversation so far.

The Nitto NT555R Extreme Drag Radial outperforms all drag racing radial tires, provides impressive control and handling, and still delivers up to 15,0

      BFG g-Force T/A Drag Radial -

They are like semi slick tyres (slick tyre with grooves).
by reading the description, nitto tires seems like an excellent choice but I would like something like 245 or 255 in 40. they only offer 45.

What 60' times are you currently getting? I had no problem consistently cutting 1.65-1.70 second 60 foot times in 375whp GTR with 225/50/16 Azenis (stock size) on stock rims. The reason I ask is because I don't really see the need for dedicated drag tires with the crazy grip these cars have unless you're running a lot more power than me.

No slip with me but I think, my best is around 1.9.

i am using Nitto's NT-05's in a 275 on all 4 corners. I wanted NT-01's but i could not find at the time i was looking. The NT-05's have been good at the track and good on the street and in a little rain. I would suggest them.

I really have my eye on the star spec, they are suppose to come out with a new model next year.. so the current modle might go closeout price

Now, I'm hesiting; should I stay 17 inch with r33 brembo or should I go 18inch with bigger brembo/akebono 355mm.

              and if I stay 17 inch x9.5. could I go 265 or should I stay 255?

I wouldn't be to concerned about the tread wear rating between the RS-3 and the star specs. The difference in actual wear will not be noticeable.

I really like the Star Spec. I have a set on my wife's SRT4. Decent at autox and better at time attack. RS-3 might be better for the short drag runs as they warm up faster. Star Spec manage the heat better and don't fall on their face after lots of laps at the track.

Toyo R1R is another tire that heats up fast, but its easy to over heat them. For autox they require spraying on hot days or after lots of consecutive runs.

I have never dragged my GTR, but have done lots of hard launches at autox and hillclimbs. If you don't have huge power(500+) I recommend feathering the clutch. 6500rpm clutch drops can bog sticky tires. Also remember that the drag strips use that sticky crap at the start line.
