Why I'm here: Into Skylines like everyone here. Just wanting to get to know and gather info from some of my Canadian brothers. I am a litttle older than most of you probably, I'm 48. My son who is 20 got me into these cars a few years ago. I am a member of some forums down south, and we have gotten some members from up north that seemed really nice. I thought I would join you guys and see what's up on this forum. I really like Canada and if I were going to move anywhere, it would be there. I wish our laws were similar to yours, as it almost seems like a police state here sometimes.
Anyway, I look forward to getting to know some of you. I hope I have met all the requirements of my intro.
Rides: My son and I have had numerous 240's of various configurations. S13's, S14's with RB25's, RB26's, 2JZ's etc... I believe we have had 14 so far. We also have/had a couple of other cars.

So I was out shopping with my girl a few weeks back, and when I got back to my car, I find a fellow (obviously not Korean, being a white guy), waiting next to my car. He was Mike911 on this board, and we had a long nice chat. I'm a very prolific poster on the GTROC (gtr.co.uk) - I think I'm like the 6th highest poster.
Anyways, my car which Mike was checking out is a '91 R32, wrapped in matte black vinyl, 2860-5 turbos running at 1.9 bars boost, and you name it, it's not stock! It's been hard owning and tuning a GT-R here in Korea as there isn't much know-how and I basically need to research things, order the parts, and then direct the installation. My car has had a long and storied build and rebuild process to get to where it is now. Unfortunately, I spun out last week and banged up my rear right suspension links and the wheel is in bad, bad shape. Otherwise though the car is fine I'm now in the tedious process of trying to source parts and it's all out of pocket as Korean insurance companies don't cover sports cars. But I suppose I should count myself lucky, spinning out at 140kph hitting the curb on the right, then crossing three lanes of traffic pointing backwards and hitting the center divide curb, again with my poor rear wheel.
Having had to map my own Power FC, I do know the R32 in and out. Feel free to PM me with any technical questions...damned near every possible failure has happened to me, and I've had to sort them all out on my own. My car's spec is a very long list; search me on the GTROC or search "Moby ****", which is what I call my whale of a car!
Cheers!
