Why I joined GTRC:

Well the plan is to pick up a' 99 R34 GTT next winter/spring as a summer/track car. I don't like taking my DD on the track, but I've had it out at CTMP DDT a few times this year. Also do a few AutoX events.
I've always wanted an R34, and now that they are 15 years old, I figure its time.
I've decided on a GTT because I want RWD and single turbo over twin. It will prob get a GTR front bumper

Why am I here: Like so many other people, the Skyline is my dream car and I'm planning on importing one when legal. I'm currently on the look out for any '89 or '90 R32. Blown/No engine, GTR, GTST, Sedan, Coupe, whatever. Its going to be a project car so as long as the body is in decent shape and the price is right, I'm interested. I'm here in particular to look for one to buy (eventually for parts too) and for help with people experienced with importing a car.
