Why am I here: Started my love with GT-Rs one day on youtube when I was like 14. Always loved japanese engineering and have wanted a Skyline for almost 6 years. Finally got one here in April, along with a 300zx and am now looking to bring these cars over and sell them (only so I can upgrade my own!). Found this group through a friend and it looks like an amazing resource (plus I can look at GT-Rs all day and drool .

Bought my GTR and joined GTRC in 2005. It's about time I post an intro.

I've been into cars since my first Hot Wheels and started building quite the car mag collection when I was 9. I first read about the GTR in my September 1990 Sports Car International. Reading it now, I scoff at the quote "Jean Louis-Duroc drove a Skyline and found it nearly the equal of Porsche's Carrera 4." The guy must have forgotten to release the emergency brake.

I want to say hi, and any advice you have about anything is welcome. Hate the 25 yr. rule, and didnt like the 15 yr. rule. I have been thinking if getting a Mitsu mini-truck. about 4 grand, but I dont know if they are reliable. I would love to work in the industry, but I am not going for my automotives apprenticeship.

well i guess I'll post here, I've mainly been a lurker for a while, there really hasn't been any need to post, It's amazing what liberal use of the search function can do in these forums. But anyhow my skyline should have passed inspection and be on the road Tuesday or Wednesday, so I should post an intorduction before i start posting pictures. Anyhow here goes:

Why am I here: I've been into Skylines long before fast and the furious made them "mainstream cool". When I learned about importing i decided to educate myself as much as possible before jumping into anything. I recently picked up my car and its fully compliant and has passed inspection on everything, the headlights just need to be aligned/adjusted and the sounds system put in. I'll have some pics up soon, shes a beaut.
