    Hi,
    so i was reading a thread here yesterday about this new number/insurance number RHD cars need when renewing your plate stickers..can anyone post the link to the thread.or explain this situation to me please.cuz i need new plate stickers.and i wanna no what i need to get them

    I don't recall sed thread myself, but I'd say just call up your DMV and ask them, they'd surely have the answer no?

        I dont get why so many of these threads are coming up lately. We have never had to do this one at RD and we sell 2-3 cars a week. I also have never personally had to go through anything like with any of my rhd`s.

          There seem to be a lot of MTO or insurance companies that don't really know what they are doing and get all flustered when a RHD car comes in. My car hasn't had any problems getting plates etc., I'd try a different MTO. And stay away from the small ones that don't really know what they are doing.

            Daryl is right. Try another MTO (a larger one if you can). We work with ones in the larger area`s (where they are not unaware of rhd`s) and we have no problems.

                i never have problems at the MTO... i know this is an old thread, BUT i neveer mention to anybody that the car is RHD. I don't they need to know.

                    Jeez Blake, starting such a fuss for nothing :P

                    I have heard of something similar to this in the past though, where MTO employees are unsure what to do with the shorter VIN.
