  • FS/FT: Fully built 1991 Skyline GTR 550+AWHP

    Vehicle Details

    CAR IS SOLD

    Year : 1991
Make and Model : Nissan Skyline GTR
    Exterior Color : Dark Silver
Interior Color : Grey, light blue suede
Auto or Manual? : Manual 5 speed
Odometer Reading : 51,000kms (engine is around 25,000km)
    Location of Vehicle : Calgary
    Description :
Car was completely built in Japan by a shop called "Power craft". Over $25,000 in aftermarket parts, labour, and tuning. Not including the purchase of the car. It was retuned for 91 octane before it was sent over. The car is very solid and extremely fast. 50,000km's on body. You can switch between a high and low boost setting with the Profec B boost controller. I managed an 11.8@120mph on the low boost setting(.7-.8 Bar) and an 11.19@126mph on the high setting(1.1-1.2bar). Highest mile an hour achieved was 129.5mph. When I picked up the car I actually turned the boost down a bit, so the car is capable of better times as is. No tuning is needed, the car runs and drives great. Only money I have spent after purchasing it was on spark plugs and oil changes. Very safe and reliable tune.
Paint is in very good condition, only minor flaws including a quarter sized dent on drivers front fender and a corner of the hood by the windshield. Some minor door dings as well.
You will not find a faster, better built GTR at this price.

Here is an in car video on low boost: http://www.vimeo.com/2381181

This car is 2008's Alberta Fastest Sport Compact with an 11.19@126MPH at Race city beating a 700whp Ford GT. Check out the video below.

Well, 11.19 officially puts this car as the FASTEST IMPORT in Alberta for 2008 based on the 'List'......so far anyways.

2003's Official List 2004's Official List 2005's Official List 2006's Official List 2007's Official List Albertas Quickest Sport Compacts of 2008 1. SNAATCH, 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR, 11.19 @ 126.52, Race City 2. Holset Hatch, 1991 Honda Civic DX, 11.59 @ 124, Castrol Raceway

Snatch, submit your time slip and claim the #1 spot......the List's maintainer is requesting it, if you have it.......after which time you need a 'back up' run with a second slip within 0.25 seconds of the time to validate it and have a month or so to provide it to make it legit.

Nice to see some GTR 'representing'......

...now get some practice in that beast, take it down to Medicine Hat and bring back a couple of 10's slips to throw at the list and finally kill all the hopes and dreams of the SRT-4 guys once and for all !

Has the trans had any work done to it so it won't blow up when the car finally does hook and book for the mid 10's that it should run? Have the diffs had any work (LSDs) or the half/shafts upgraded?

What's your high and low boost settings and was the tuning for 91 just spark based, what brand of gas was the 91?

          Thanks......

          Jon.
Why don't you come over to MySpace and Twitter my Yahoo untill I Google all over your Facebook.

          1990 GTR Drag Special T88H34D 11.24 @ 127.55mph at only 1.2bar...... officially. SOLD

I am willing to trade for a mint GTS-T plus cash, whatever your car is worth plus enough cash to equal about $22,500

Im not totally sure if there has been any tranny work done. It feels very solid and tight, and the gears do feel longer, but it may just be because of the 9k red line. It also feels like there is upgraded LSD's. I don't know how to tell for sure.
Low boost is at .8 bar, and high boost is set at about 1.1 bar. I believe they tuned for Shell gas.

Long time bump. Entertaining offers and I can go lower without the seats, roll cage, or work wheels.
