So, since this group buy has been going on for almost 2 months, those of us that put our names in the list obviously want to get the damper and paying on time is no issue. Now that everyone's paid up, we have no worries or need to be hating people that ruin group buys and cause grief/headaches for the supplier(s). These guys are there for us, so let's be greatful and pay them on time with respect. There's nothing worse than a group buy that flobs to due people backing out after having their name on the list. A big thanks to Mike for a good group deal. I hope everyone paid up, otherwise post some names up!!

Ok guys, ATI expects to ship our dampers out from their Baltimore offices tomorrow (Thursday July 3rd). We hope to recieve them in Vancouver by July 11th, but I should have a better idea once we receive the tracking number.

More updates to follow as we get them!

UPDATE: The UPS tracking number shows that the pulleys should arive in Vancouver sometime on Monday July 14th! We'll be getting them sent out to everybody ASAP! If you haven't paid in full yet, we'll be emailing or calling you to arrange for final payment before Monday.

Hopefully you guys don't get burned from UPS. They are horrible on cross border sales.

when they say: that'll be 200$ customs fees for your 200$ part.... say: "I'll custom clear it myself thank you. may I have the appropriate papers please"

you can then either go yourself to a customs office or get a broker to do it.

however it's best to say that to UPS BEFORE they actually clear the customs for you (as well as your wallet).

Thanks for the advice guys, but don't worry, we import tens of thousands of dollars in products from the US and Japan every month! We have 3 different brokers that handle everything from small packages to freight and LTL shipments!

The pulley shipment includes all the proper NAFTA paperwork, and the brokerage cost is already included in the group buy price

As long as no one misplaces the paperwork, everything should go quickly and smoothly! Of course you all know how shipping companies work :roll:
