Thats cool... How long ago did ur buddy get it? My supplier claims that they have an updated version of the radiator now which has everything, but I will check around some other sources to make sure that is the case (I need to check next week because its the weekend now).

As long as it has the bung, I would be interested in getting in on this buy also.

just don't want to GB and then go have to modify after the fact, rather buy a complete working unit.

ANY REVIEWS FROM THE LAST GROUP BUY BY ANYONE WHO GOT ONE OF THESE?

This is my first GB on these.
Unfortunately, they went out of stock earlier today when I called to get details regarding the bung. When they get in stock again, I will be posting and also confirming all the necessary details.

I am the buddy kyle is talking of, i took it to Manny at FT-Pototype in Mississauga he welded a bung for me and installed it since he was doing my turbo swap and exhaust fab anyway soo it all worked out but i don't think that welding a bung is a big deal any shop should be able to do it for you.

As for the rad no complaints it seems to be working fine, and all my temps are cooler then the stocker so buy em as you can!

Only complaint i had was that the welds could have been a bit prettier but does not really bother me. . . gets the same results as a 400$+ rad for a fraction of the price.

                  Cheers.

the welds do look uneven, but then again, your call...

i personally like the koyo as its a DIRECT drop in and theres no messing around.

no bungs to weld, to brackets to flip or remake.

i just did a band aid replacement of a used rad and my temp sensor was in the bottom of the rad. what is the price difference between this rad and say the koyo? and not to bash but would in not make sense to upgrade to electric fans at the same time and go with a all in one solution? I guess if you on a budget this would work well as long as the bung is there.

so if it doesnt have a bung, then i assumg the thing on the bottom is meant for the drain plug?
