  • Custom Grounding kits

Seeing if there's any interest in these, cable color would be black and would have gold connectors and terminals. They'd be made to fit our cars and not just a bunch of cables that are too long and look messy, they'll also have detailed instructions.Price would probably be $40 or so plus shipping. So if you're interested just put your name on the list:

I was thinking of going with 6 or maybe 8, i've got to mock up a kit on my own car first and find some good grounding points, the igniter will be one for sure.

I'm very interested in the grounding kit, but I would love a pic or two of the mockup first. Just wondering tho, would this be a gtr only, gtst only, or made to work for both?

                  Thanks Josh.

Umm I think that the OEM kit is 8awg. Shouldn't you use at least 4awg or 0awg?

4 gauge is too big. Grounding shouldn't be bigger than #6 and even then, #8 is fine....lol 1 ought(0 awg) is bigger than your BATTERY CABLES BRO lol....

Well I'm running a big 2000wrms of Sound system and upgraded my battery to a Big Kinetik 1800. I don't think it's overkill.

every kit ive seen used 8awg wire, i agree 4awg is overkill.

If you run a 2 gauge wire to your stereo from the battery which should also be in the trunk, the rest of the grounding can be #8 to save 10 pounds of useless wiring lol. If you're battery is still in the front and you're worried, run some 4/0 or 250mcm to your stereo and be worry free...
