  • AQUAMIST HSF-6 Water/Meth Injection- Christmas for me to me sale

    I don't think the HSF-6 needs any introduction but for those who don't know it is the premium Water Meth Injection system. Some systems say they have safeties but the HSF-6 will trigger lower boost- different map etc if you have a problem. Unlike all other systems the HSF-6 monitors flow and will alarm if either too much flow(broken line)- not enough flow(plugged jet). As well Aquamist continues on with their highspeed injector valve. Most Water/Meth systems increase the water amount by ramping up the pump speed but numerous experiments can show that this is not a linear flow rate but merely a guess. Aquamist mirrors your injector as a base and allows many fine adjustments. For those of you using our ViPEC ECU we have developed an input so that the ECU will automatically switch to your meth tune if none of the safeties have been triggered and switch back with any alarm set. This truly gives a safe Water/Meth setup removing the fear of a failure in the system and of buying a new engine.

    Comparisons to the HFS-6:

    The HFS-3 Does NOT:
    Offset against the initial F-IDC - the F-IDC threshold % = starting point of meth flow %
    It doesn't have manifold pressure compensation
    Alter the failsafe reset period = pegged at 3 seconds
    Read "Direct Injection" pulses such as the 335i or Audi FSI pulses
    Control a MAC valve directly as with the HFS-6

    The HFS-3 CAN:
    Put gain on the incoming F-IDC for purpose of having large fuel injectors running low DC. Previously, the HFS-5 has to be double pulsed
    You can run the system based on boost or IDC only
    You can program it to be single point (old HFS-1) or PWM-V mode (old HFS-5)

        Primarily because it is not as good. I have promoted Aquamist because they are the best but very well I will add the HSF-3 to this goup as well.

        Comparisons to the HFS-6:

          Though the HSF-3 and 2 kits aren't as good, I'm certain they're still better than most other kits out there?

            Don't recommend the 2 no safeties unless you add them and then you might as well buy the 3. It comes down to this everyone wants to save $100.00 but they gamble with a 15k motor.

                Hoses yes but no resevoir however if we can have them built.

                  This is why I rather get the 3 because I don't even understand the added benefit of the 6 over the 3 ( There is but I can't benefit from something I don't even understand lol)

                      You may not understand it but your tuner will
                      This system is run by IDC-(injector duty cycle) In other words Your Fuel injector duty cycle is the map-for your water. The 6 gives you the abilty to add more or less to that.


                      Manifold pressure compensation - as your boost increase the static output of the pump does not as it is dead headed at 160 PSI this gives the ability to have more water duty cycle so that the pressure against the jets from the extra boost is compensated for by increasing the duty cycle of the water jet.

                      Alter failsafe reset that is pretty self explanetory

                      A MAC valve is the common used boost control valve by most electronic boost control companies this is the boost shutoff for failure. So basically one of the main safeties. The three will still output a failsafe which can have a relay used but not in the same way as the 6. ]

                      Basically the 6 is a more professional setup but heh the 3 is better than any of the other systems out there just not a 6 kinda like the GTS-t a great car but not a GTR LOL
