  • FS/WTT: 1989 240sx GTS4 4wd Conversion

Hey there. I joined this site to gain knowledge about the 4wd RB drivetrain.

I then deduced since Full-Race never released the 4wd RB swap kit I would make my own.

Unfortunately, I am out of funds and need a DD BAD.

Here is the link to my build thread:

    Features:

-1989 240sx Coupe HUD, 128k miles. Loaded Sunroof, all power accessories, etc.

-1990 GTS4 RB20DET Drivetrain from a 120,000km skyline that got sneeky and made its way into the US.

-GTR Subframe, 4-Piston Brakes, Front suspension links and Front Diff. The car has an upper balljoint adapter to mate the Multi-link with a Strut.

    -5-lug swap, new rear brakes.

-5-speed swap. Let's face it, getting an auto car to start with is the cheapest way to insure a "skyline" without them knowing its a "skyline".

-Primax 17x8" +40 with 85% rubber all the way around.

    Things to be finished:

-Floor-pan clearance for the xfer case bump, trans mount fabbed.

    -Driveshaft. Needs one.

-Wiring. Needs to be finished. 12 wires, easy-peasy.

-P/S, Brake, and fuel line work.

-Clutch pedal installation. Have all the parts, and new master cylinder.

-Nuts and bolts, etc. Minor stuff.

The car is a rolling chassis, with the engine installed. It will need to be towed obviously.

I am asking $4500 USD OR trade me a fun, nice, reliable DD.

Car is located in Gray, Maine. About 3 hours from Montreal.
