I've got a memory fab S58 carbon fiber seat with rails. The seat only weighs 17 lbs. Trade plus cash on my end? Or my memory fab seat, and rails + my gtst seat, and rails for your bride seat and rails? I also have a vinyl semi-bucket seat with universal rails if you're interested. I also have rear GTS-t seats if you really want them.

No worries, they are Bride FG type rails.

I only really need the driver side seat now, but if I were to take 2 seats + cash I would need a little more. Given GTR seats go for about $150-200 each, say $400 for the pair. That leaves $600 left for cash.

I'm interested in brides but I'm hesitant about buckets. I'm worried they won't be in the right degree or that my wife will hate them and make me sell the car (yes, it's getting to that point the closer I get to a track car...). I'm not a big guy but I am 6 feet tall, would I have fitment problems?

No I doubt there will be fitment problems man. I'm 6 feet tall and almost 250 pounds and fit in them great. I would buy them but need to focus my money on getting the car running again.

Are they awkward for body positions or would they be just right for nearly anyone to sit in (my wife drives this car...) happily? I'm worried it'll feel like I sitting too errect or too far back or crunched up. It does rail back and forth though I guess. The down side is that it's only 1 seat looks goofy with 1 badass seat and 1 OEM lol, I'm not pulling the other cause it's even goofier on a street car :S Doh... decisions.

Well everyones opinion will vary. Me personally like the seat a lot as an entire package(drivability, comfort and the sheer stick to your seat when giving it sheet). Anyways I imagine your wife is a lot smaller than you so I say go for it buddy, unless she is the complaining type that will just bitch and complain because she can. Wish you the best of luck with your decision.

If your wife is too short, don't get the seat..she'll be sitting on the ground. I have the same seat in my fd and with the low-max system, your basically sitting 1" off the floor.

And if you are worry about the angle, you can tilt the seat front or back with the rail.

Ahh, the seat tilts then, that's good, is it by use of shims I'd need? As for her height, she's 5'9 so it shouldn't be a problem. I'll see what she says lol.
