  • Used HKS2530's

    Hey everyone,

I have a set of used but good condition HKS2530 turbos that I bought from Ztune (the shop) in November of last year. I originally bought them for my build but I'm considering going with something else. The turbos have not been used since I purchased them from Ztune. These are great turbos for your winter projects, perfect for 500whp +, same ones on the Mines car.

    Asking $1600, Very Firm
Keep in mind I am not in any rush to sell these, might actually keep them, this is just a feeler. So If you don't like my price, don't waste my time. The price on the HKS USA website is $2200 each.

Those are the pictures from Ztune, they don't look any different now but if your interested in more pictures ask away.

PM is the best way to contact me
Located in Ft. McMurray, AB, will ship at buyers expense, but I may be willing to cut you a deal on shipping.

Oh and I may be interested in a trade, let me know what you've got. Nothing bigger, and I'm sticking with twins.

$1600 for the pair? Rocking deal, I'd grab them if I didn't already have them. Awesome turbos, I love them on my car.
Whoever ends up with these will be very happy.

Hahaha I'll probably end up with the same Franc.
          Thanks for the bump Daryl!

I'm not really sure about spool, but I would guess you could have 1.5 bar by 4500rpm. I've seen them rated for ~640PS
Maybe Daryl will comment on spool time as I haven't used them yet. They would be similar to -5's though.

These are direct bolt on, right? still need to modify water/oil lines?

They are direct bolt on, but you will want to put an oil feed reducer as these turbos are call bearing not thrust bearing. But I wouldn't recommend them without supporting fuel system, and a tune.

$1600 for 2x 2530's? I'm almost ready to lay that down right now. Hows the shaft play? Tell me more about this oil feed reducer, and where i could get one, And I suppose I'd need gaskets, how many km's on them, do you know? VERY interested. VERY.

Actually I forgot to update this thread, the turbos are currently off the market as I am planning on making a trade with another member. If for whatever reason the trade falls through I will bump this thread. Sorry guys.

damn it I'm always just a little too late with these things. Well, let me know if the trade falls through, as trades like this seem to do, you pretty much definitely have a sale here... If you don't take too long! I wanna get ready for a turbo upgrade this winter, so I'll be looking around.
