Hey I just had a question for anyone that can help me out! What is the best turbo to swap into my 94 r32 gtr, I want to put down about 450 hp. If anyone could throw me out some ideas that would be greatly appreciated!

I'm running hks gt-ss turbos with stock Injectors. Turned up the furl pressure slightly and am making 440whp. The turbos ate a bolt on kit. About $2000 from japan. Best bang for you buck. Oh and they spool as fast as stock turbos. Converting to a big slow single is a very inefficient way to get big numbers.

I'd imagine you've never even owned a 400+hp so I also wanted to suggest if you are on a smaller budget then $1800 + tune you can go with r34 turbos. You can get r34 turbos from japan for about $800. A good computer, tune, and r34 turbos at 16-18 pounds will yield you a very fast 385-400 wheel hp. Computer and tune is key there so you don't blow off the wheels on the turbos.

No your right newtype this is my first high horse power car! Are the r34 turbos a good choice for mid range power? What would you recommend for a good computer? Apexi power fc is what I was looking into. Would it be a good idea to change out my fuel injectors? My plan is to keep the twin setup! One other thing i had a question on was BOV's, is it worth it to switch to an aftermarket bov with only having basic mods, or should I wait till I put more into the car? Thanks again guys!

Well stock injectors would work with r34 turbos. That's one of them things you'll find out on the dyno. If you running an rb26 I wouldn't recommend a power fc. It doesn't work well with individual throttle bodies. The computer I use is a Vi-Pec. I don't know if there are any distributers or tuners in your area but that computer works very very well. It's the only computer you'll ever need. It's a little spendy but the cool thing about it is you can pull the computer out and put it in your s13 or z32 if you had one and wanted to you could tune that car with the same computer. A local shop here could ship you a vipec but I don't know who would tune it. R34 turbos are kinda popular I've never had to look for them though. If you know someone in japan then you can look on www.upgarage.com and have your connection in japan pick em up and ship em. That's what I do. If your able to give doug smith a call here in Tacoma. He owns the shop U.P.Garage/Fairlady Motors. 253-565-9823. Tell him officer Mikey told you to call him. They may be able to ship you stuff you need. They have connections in japan along with a stock of great parts.
