THIS ^ i mean if you dont know what is required for a turbo to "bolt on" to your manifold then you should prob not be in the market for a turbo. do your research and inform your self before you try and buy. back to topic glws. holsets are cheap and make decent power
first list direct bolt ones
second turbos requiring minor mods
third common turbo swaps requiring totally modifyied systems
then when trying to figure out where you want your build to go
you can go to a list to see which turbo for what hp/goal vs level of modifying
but
IF YOU WANT A DIRECT BOLT ON TURBO ITS GOT TO BE A NISSAN/GARRETT TURBO T28/T3
ANYTHING ELSE IS GOING TO NEED
INTAKE MOD
EXHAUST MANIFOLD MOD
PIPING MOD
EXHAUST MOD
ECU TUNING
OIL COOLER MOD
CATCH CAN ADDITION
MODIFY THE RE-CIRC/BLOW-OFF SYSTEM
FUEL MGMT SYSTEM MOD (PUMP/INJECTORS/LINES/REG)
BUT IT IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED THAT YOU REBUILD A USED NISSAN TURBO WITH A STEEL WHEEL POLISH AND BALANCE
OR YOU WASTED THAT $300 PLUS INSTALL ON A TURBO THAT POPS AFTER INSTALL
READ UP ITS HAPPENED 100 TIMES BEFORE
EVEN FROM A REPUTIBLE DEALER LIKE FEASTAUTO WITH A NEO RB25 TURBO
vg30 biggest
rb25 second biggest
rb20 medium
rb26 smallest but x2
mods please correct or move if necessery
i dont know it all but im in the ballpark
