  • Built R32 Transmission(1-5 Os Giken gear set)

    includes:
1-5 Os Giken gear set with Holinger input shaft
    Os Giken triple plate clutch
    Os Giken flywheel
    Os Giken LSD
    spare HKS triple plate clutch
    HKS flywheel
    spare r33 transmission

This set-up has ran 9s in a street car and made about 800whp.

This set-up is perfect for street, shifts mint and easily handles 9000rpm launches. This set-up is still currently on my car and I'll be willing to take serious buyer for test drive. Located in Toronto.

Well.. a triple plate is way too much but the gear set and input shaft could be worth putting in my transmission.

If your willing to part out and calling anyone else who would like to have the rest, we could do a double buy.

Indeed, as well am I. I only want the trans though, the other stuff is uneeded and I don't want to pay the extra shipping for it.

Cobraa: a tripple is fine (got one in my car right now) and a quad waiting in the wings......Mwaahahahaha!

Just curious though, why change it up? Going to an OS88 or something along those lines?

I know what you're saying, price is mandatory. I'm just trying to come up with a fair price. I'll post one very soon.

I'm changing to a Holinger sequential, which as you probably know cost a fortune and yes probably is also a waste of money.

$3500 for a used transmission? Sure it's an OS gearset, but really?

MRSP on those gears and shaft is like 4500. Never seen a 1-5 tho... they make 1-3+5 or 1-3 to my knowledge... But yeah, you dont know what abuse it took used I guess, and that gif says "lots" lol. STill could be a great deal for a high power street ride gl with sale mate!

I already have a twin plate guys.. no need for triple and its not like my twin needed rebuild anyways.

Like some said.. this car had some abuse. If I had a 700whp car, I guess I would prefer new stuff but for the power I make and the use, I'm positive the gear set would be perfect for me.

Im sure its been "used" Im well aware of the cost of a new gear set as well as other transmission configurations but like everything thats been used its worth a fraction of the price new. Iv seen 1-4 gear sets on sale for around $4000 and thats brand new. A strengthened 5th is no use to me. Either way this would be a solid set up for the weekend warrior GTR if you can buy it for the right price.

Who cares if it's used... I don't need a test drive. Post a price when you decide and if you'll ship Canada wide at my expense. I need a built gearbox. Serious buyer here. Only interest in the triple OSG clutch (push?) and transmission. Located in Alberta.

Can you post actual specs (gearset p# as I haven't heard of a 4th) Who did the install again? How many KM on gearbox? Why are you selling....

+1 for this being a good setup. I bought a brand new 1-5 set in an R33 box, including transfer case, but no clutch, for $4500 and thought I'd snagged a great deal. It's a great gearbox on the circuit.

Can you only run a pull clutch with that (I am now assuming that this is an R33 box)? If so I will have to track down a conversion kit to run my R4C clutch with this. Still interested though. How many Ks do you think is on it and how many 1/4mile passes did the guy in the UK you got the car from say it made?
