Hi guys,
Here's my situation.
Currently putting an RB25det in a 74 Datsun 260z. Project I bought came with an RB25DET (with rb20 trans), but it's somewhat taken apart (turbo not installed, hoses disconnected here and there, etc). I was going to throw a big turbo on and megasquirt it, but adjusted my power requirements and am now going for a stock rb25 (engine management and all).
I'm purchasing an entire front clip for an RB25det and will be using most of the engine goodies (Engine, harness, trans, ecu, etc). Most if not all skyline related parts will be sold: Interior bits, intake, headlights, body parts, rear end, suspension, brakes, radiator, you name it.
Clip won't arrive for a couple weeks, but putting this up to start gauging interest.
Also I will be selling the RB25det long block thats in the car right now. Would be good if you blew yours, but probably not ideal for someone doing a complete swap. Missing: Turbo, CAS stock wheel (I have aem 24/1 wheel, but wrecked stock wheel trying to modify it). It was sourced from Racing Greed who in turn sourced it from Ztune. It was one they had lying around but told to be good shape. Compression came out good, but apparently was a slight leak down on intake side. Mechanic at RG told me it would be fine once it was running again.
RB25 Long block - $750?
RB20 Trans - $250?
Z32 NA trans with RB25 Bell housing (shifter linkage is different, so not a skyline direct swap). $300?
550CC Subaru side-feed injectors (yellow top). direct swap. 2 sets of 6: $250/set
