FS:*Extremely RARE* Nismo LMGT magnesium 18x10 +20 with Toyo R888 265/35R18

It's really hard for me to sell these. It took me years to find them and they are super rare. This is probably the only set in north america.

They are Nismo LMGT Magnesium. Not the LMGT4 as you can tell the spokes design are slightly different. There are also 5H compare to 10H on the GT4.

There were originally white and I had them painted in gloss black by a body shop.
There is minor chips on one of the lug nut hole and chips on the back of the wheel lip. However, there is no bent or curb rashes. It is also missing one center cap but I've order another one.

Tires are Toyo R888 265/35R18. They are balanced and had probably 1-2 track day left. I will NOT remove the tires so don't ask.

Price will be $4500 + shipping and paypal fee. If you don't know the retail of these, go do a search before offering. These wheels are extremely rare so I am pretty firm on the price. I am located in richmond BC, 20mins from US WA border.

These weight 17-18 pounds I hear. That's pretty good considering my narrower 9.5" wide gt4s weight 16.8 pounds... Damn shame I will have to beg the wife haha

MSRP ~ 1300 / rim weght 17.1 lb for 18x10 What I found more of were questions about if this was suitable as a daily wheel speculating they were too soft for daily use. Charles not trying to troll your thread but can you answer that.

It was 130,000yen brand new which is $1700 each.


To Be honest, Neither ME OR the previous owner used them as daily. The previous guy had it on his R33 GTR for 10years but he only drove it for less than 10K. Most of the time was just starting the car and drive around his parkade. I bought it and it just rolled around the shop. I've did some research before I purchased. Mag wheels seem to be common with the corvette dudes and they never have a problem with them on the street.

Again, it's just from my research and my conclusion came down to be:
Yes, it is not as strong but in my opinion, it just means when it hits a curb, it'll get bent more than an aluminum wheel. Otherwise, there should be no different on normal street.

Magnesium isn't as strong as aluminium but is stronger per pound. if you find a 17.1 lb aluminium wheel, this one would be stronger. Build an identical wheel, shape and structure, as this wheel and the aluminium will be heavier and stronger.

An LMGT 4 in a comparable size is only about 19 lbs and its forged. Also "Mag" wheels are never straight magnesium, they are a mixture of magnesium and aluminum. They used to be cast and suffered from a lot of degradation issues but nowadays they are forged and will withstand some serious abuse but curbs and pot holes will ruin any kind of wheel.

C-unit, have you weighed just a rim? I would think these should be closer to 15lbs. The ForgedMag TE37 is only 14lbs in a 18x10

I think My lmg4 (18x9.5) were 16.8 pounds. Were the normal gt4 really 20 pounds? Yeaouch

The only info I can find on the mag is that they weight 17.1 pounds at the 10" wide which is sick. 15 pounds would be pretty sick!

I'd be curious to know how they fit. Any fitting issues on the fenders?
