Precisely. This will help stiffen the chassis but it's a decoration otherwise. Depending on wall thickness you may be able to have it welded and certified to have it more worthwhile. My opinion.

Like has been said before, this cage is for chassis stiffening only...no racing body in North America will pass these because the base plates are too small and in some instances bolt together is a no-go. BUT....this is a great way to give you some piece of mind and as long as you are not faster than 11.49 at the dragstrip or competing (as opposed to a fun day) in FIA sanctioned racing, you will be fine.
