noob question but are they hipermax damper or just damper, if there is a difference what is it? also any idea of how many kms on them?

I had a set of these as well i was looking at rebuilding. From my research they are discontinued but essentially a "drift spec" version of hypermax III(which is what they were replaced with). I found it on a japanese site that google translated for me while looking for the seat locks for them.

how did you like them? would you recommend these or is there better performance from something more modern at a reasonable price?

if you're asking me you're asking the wrong person, I never found seat locks or valves for them, so i never ran them. Frankiman had them you can ask him, he's since replaced his with cuscos
